Mountain Dreams Publishing began in 1995 by publishing a tourism map in the Las Cruces area. It had two employees, Publisher Bob Skolnick and wife Linda. The map became an institution in the Las Cruces area and after several years two other publications were added, The Visitors Guide of Southern New Mexico and the Relocation Guide of Las Cruces. This prompted a full time commitment to Las Cruces and Southern New Mexico.
The ensuing years have seen the addition of Ventanas - a lifestyle and home styles magazine; The Real Estate Guide – produced in conjunction with Steinborn GMAC Realtors; ¡Sabroso! - a magazine dedicated to food, Southwestern dining and Entertainment; Spring Showcase of Homes & Fall Parade of Homes magazines; Home Improvement Ideas; and Heart - a magazine dedicated to empowering women.
